This requires a compatible mac and ipad, and that the OS versions match.


So: is your mac running 12.4? Is your iPad running iPadOS 15.5?

Are they recent enough to support this feature? See the compatibility list:

I don’t really have a fix for this but perhaps it may be of help. I had this issue on 12.3 and ugrading to 12.4 fixed it for me. I imagine this may be an issue with caches of pherahps settings corruption. I was looking for a way to reset the sidecar subsystem but I couldn’t find one.


Did anybody try running Onyx?

Everything is there.


And this is now crazy. The M1 iPad didn't show up yesterday.

I just unlocked it "again!" and it finally shows up automatically on Displays and the option Link Keyboard and Mouse, was automatically selected.

Perhaps was the amount of coffee I drank this morning?
