My split keyboard is stuck

How do I get my split screen back to the bottom of my screen?

To be clear, I WANT the split keyboard. I am not trying to "merge and dock" to get a big keyboard.

I simply want the split keyboard to not be in the middle of my screen. I want it to be at the bottom, where it's always been. I don't even know how or why it has moved.

I've tried the options on the small keyboard menu. It "merge and dock"s, but only as the big keyboard.

When I select "split" it splits and goes back to the middle of my screen.

I've tried holding the keyboard icon and dragging it back to the bottom. Nothing happens.

I've rebooted. No change.

I've closed all the windows and tabs.

I checked the keyboard settings, in settings. There's no options to help that I see.

I haven't downloaded or opened anything new lately.

No, I WANT it to be small. This only tells you how to make it big.

I want it to be small, split, but at the bottom, not on the middle.

see the screenshot, it is right in the middle of my screen, instead of at the bottom....I want it small and split in 2.

but how to get it back to the bottom?

I'm sorry, I appreciate you taking time to offer suggestions, but the link only works for the floating, small "full" keyboard.

The split keyboard doesn't have a line under it to hold and move. There is no line under the split keyboard. I don't see any way to move it around.

the reference link was for the keyboard that is small, but not split.

I am frustrated because I've already spent over 2 hours for an issue that should have an obvious and easy solution.

Use the Get Support Button at the top of this page and reach out to Apple. I have owned iPad Pro for the last few years, which cannot use the Split Keyboard, so I just don't have any recent experience with it.
