Can you still send a text or do you need to unblock them

Hello,

Yes, but you cannot received a text or call from that number. You’ll need to unblock the number if you wish to receive a response or a call.

I think Apple should allow us to block a contacts including text messages. I blocked the contact of a person harassing me. The problem is I still get his text messages. They are causing me stress. This $1000 phone should be able to completely block a contact of our choice in every way possible.
