I think Apple should allow us to block a contacts including text messages.

I blocked the contact of a person harassing me.

The problem is I still get his text messages.

They are causing me stress.

This $1000 phone should be able to completely block a contact of our choice in every way possible.

I did that already. He can still text message me.

I even clicked on hide messages, but they still show up without a notification.

I’ve blocked his cell number.

Them went to his text message and clicked on info and it says blocked. So I clicked on hide alerts.

but his text messages are still being sent to my phone.

He was a friend that tried to commit suicide on FT with me. He was drunk and had a shotgun to his mouth. He was drunk and distraught over his father passing.

this was last year on Christmas night.

I called the police to go over there and they took him for a 5150 hold.

Ive asked him to stop contacting me because I’m in there apt for PTSD as you can imagine.

But he texts me like he’s done nothing wrong.

I just need to completely block him.

Apple needs to start allowing us to have control over completely blocking a contact or phone number. And not say to contact our carrier.

This is a simple fix.

In the meantime my anxiety’s caused me to be in and out of Urgent Care..

I think Apple should allow us to block a contacts including text messages.
