What is “software update” and why can’t I delete it ? Whenever I try to delete it a delete confirmation pops up and I click it but it does not remove it ? What is software update it continues to get bigger in size from what I notice and it has a future date on it which I can’t seem to get rid of. I’ve tried hard restarting my iPhone. Turning phone off and on. Still won’t delete. Should I be worried ?

We'd recommend first checking if your iPhone is fully updated. If not, take a moment to backup and then update: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
After updating, check if it is still there.
If you're already updated or the problem persists, take a moment to restart the iPhone and then try deleting it again. Let us know the results from there.

I have updated to latest version of iOS and have tried restarting my phone and tried to delete it again nothing changes still can’t delete still has a future date.
