Apple Watch Series 4 - Watch OS 8.6 - Battery Drain

Hi There, I have a massive issue with my battery draining. Charged up to 100% and down to 29% within 2 hours. Battery health at 81% too so the battery is ok. Soft reset did not help. Unpaired the watch and re-pairing did not help. No apps open. No workouts on. Is there any solution to this or do I need to wait for the next update? Cannot keep charging my watch every 2 hours for 2 hours of use.

If the battery drains too fast after an update, see all the replies to:

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.

At this point, I think your best option is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it. If that is not possible, use the online Apple Support option . Either way:
