iPad stuck on apple logo - is it broken?

My iPad (iPad Pro first gen) ran out of battery yesterday and I plugged it in straight away but it did turn off beforehand. I have been letting it charge for 10 hours+ and it is still stuck on the apple logo.

I have tried a hard reset a bunch of times. I have also followed advice online such as putting it in DFU mode however I didn't want to restore the iPad and lose everything. I've also reset it every time it switches on and off after it trickle charges. I have also changed the chargers I'm using.

Nothing is working and it is still stuck on the apple logo. I really need my iPad so any help would be much appreciated.

Connect your iPad to its Power Adapter. While still connected to external power, try a forced-restart:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Note:  If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen. Or if your iPad isn’t working correctly after you restart it, see the iPad Support website.
