iPhone 13 Pro iOS 15.5 Bluetooth audio chopping up while driving.

I have an iPhone 13 pro that I use for streaming audio while driving. I have used different vehicles so I know it’s not the vehicle settings. While driving, the audio begins chopping out and leaving me in silence while music continues to play on my device. This happens in different areas of town but in the same areas every time. While I walk through one particular area with Bluetooth audio streaming from my device to headphones, the audio also drops out. Is there any solution to this issue? I have reset my network settings multiple times so that won’t work. I had the same issue in the same area with my iPhone 11 so it’s not my phone.

while driving through one area once I saw my phones Bluetooth list attempting to connect to other Bluetooth devices in the area so I’m wondering if this could be a clue to what’s happening. Like I said, resets already done on device and happens on multiple devices. This also happens on my partners’ devices in the same area. Please help me understand

Since the situation is location specific, it sounds like there may be a source of interference. You mentioned specifically you were streaming content. Do you notice this happens with content that is downloaded to your device when traveling through those locations as well? We ask this to just double verify the issue is the Bluetooth connection and not the streaming connection.

Some things that can cause wireless interference are power cables, microwave ovens, fluorescent lights, wireless video cameras, and cordless phones. Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices use the 2.4 GHz band, so if you’re in an area where there are lots of Wi-Fi devices or connections that can also cause interference.
