Connecting audio to a title in the timeline?

I've created a title in Motion5, and I'm using that title in a FCPX timeline. I use that title template several times throughout the timeline. There is a corresponding sound effect (when the title appears, there's a sound with it), but at this point, I have to copy and paste that audio over and over again separately, and re-sync it each time with the title. It there any way to do either:

1 - attach the audio to the title, so it copies and pastes with it, or

2 - if I have to make them a compound clip, how do I edit the variables in the title? The title template has text that can be edited, and is edited each time. From what I can see, you can't edit a title if it's inside a compound clip without breaking it apart.

Is there a method I'm missing?

I would go with the compound clip method.

Select the title and audio, and make a compound.

Drag the compound to where you want to use it.

You need to "reference a new parent clip" before making changes - otherwise your changes will affect other instances of the compound clip. Select the compound, go to Clip->Reference new Parent Clip.

You can alter the text by double-clicking the compound, making the changes, and get back to the project level by pressing < above the timeline.
