Hey there,

  1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing, then choose an audio destination.
  2. Tap Auto-Answer Calls, turn on Auto-Answer Calls, then set the duration of time before the call is answered by tapping  or .

The minimum period you can assign is 3 seconds, which is very short and I think there will be no delay in answering the call If you set it for this period

Very disappointed to learn about this latest update. "Speed to lead" is critical in sales. The auto answer at 0-1 seconds allowed me to multi-task without running the risk of missing a call. Please bring this feature back. Thank you.

That's truly a priceless advice especially for someone like me - Apple client (home and professional) for at least 22 years now, and iPhone user since 3G, which is 2008.

I wonder what was the reason for iOS designers to change the response time in Auto-Answer Calls function, because I did nothing wrong to those guys and yet it feels today like being backstabbed.

Same here!

I thought to buy a new iPhone which remains iOS 15 or lower system so I can still use the auto answer at 0 second,

then I’ve been told if I need transfer from my old iPhone to the new one, then the new one will be mandatory to update to 15.5 as well.

Then I give up.

this update is a total mess!

apple engineers!!!!give us back the auto answer to zero second!!!!!’n

I am in this exact situation too. I work in sales and our calls go to a pool of sales staff. First one to answer gets the new client. Second one gets nothing. I've had an iPhone since switching over from a Blackberry many years ago. I've never even had an android phone. Do android phones have a zero second auto-answer app? I'm finding auto answer apps for android when I search. Sigh....

I need it to answer in 1 second. I am in a pilot group where the first to answer gets the business. I am losing business due to 3 seconds being the minimum. Is my only option to change to Samsung or another iPhone. Frustrating because time is money and others are answering under 3 seconds and am losing potential commission.

Thanks for advise.
