google.com unresponsive on iPhone browsers when Google.com is signed into my gmail account

When I am signed into the gmail account on google.com, the browsers (safari and chrome) are unresponsive to touch after getting search results. This does not occur on my Windows PC or my iPads. Only iPhones.

If I'm signed out of the gmail account on google.com there is no issue.

Please assist.
