Two of us have Macbook pros 2019 with the fingerprint reader. Once set up, fingerprint works for a few days and then quits working. If you set it up again, it will work for another few days and then quit working again. I did not have this issue with my 2016 Macbook. Any suggestions on how to keep it working or fix is so we don't have to reset it up every week? Thanks much!

you can try both:
—resetting the SMC How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
—resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
