How to add Photoshop to 'Open With' list on MAC

When I want to open a .CR2 image file with photoshop, I right click on the file, select open with, then click on 'photoshop.app' in the list. I have upgraded my camera and now shoot CR3 files. When I try to do the same with CR3 image files, photoshop in not in the list of applicable apps ? I can open the file with photoshop by selecting 'Other' and finding photoshop in my applications folder, but this is a bit inefficient. I could go into CR3 file info and set the default 'open with' to photoshop and select 'change all' but I prefer to keep this option set to the preview app. How can I add the photoshop app to the 'open with' pull down list for CR3's as it appears for CR2's please ?
