How to remove battery cover on my AirTag?

I cannot unscrew the Air Tag battery cover like the online directions say to. Any suggestions?

Make sure to press down on the polished stainless steel battery cover of your AirTag and rotate counterclockwise until the cover stops rotating. nFor more info, see:

If you still have problems, take it to an Apple Store near you and let them look at it (if possible).
