Disable Sleep, it’s unnecessary on later Macs, all pain, no gain. To disable, set your Energy Saver settings to as shown below, should fix.
Separately, avoid manual sleep, use screen lock instead or let the display switch off/auto-lock on timer. For long or overnight absences, shut.
This response does not make any sense to me. Having the computer on and awake all of the time shortens the life of the display, makes the disks wear out faster and wastes electricity.
This may be a temporary workaround but it is not a solution.
The display switches off on inactivity timer (or manually if you so prefer). Disk wear is n/a since later Macs don’t have mechanical drives. Shut for overnights and long absences. There’s no other “solution”…all the best.
