once i back up my iMac, the next time back up will back up everything in my iMac or just back up if there are any changes [ added items or deleted items ] ????
As mentioned Time Machine only backs up everything on the very first back-up, subsequent backups are only additions and changes. If you backup by creating a bootable clone using either SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner both can be setup easily to do the same thing as Time Machine.

TM looks for what is changed. A first TM backup takes a very long time. The following backups will go faster
