IPad Air Charging

Can I use this Nintendo charger to charge my iPad Air? I had been using it for a couple months but today someone pointed out to me that I should be careful that it doesn’t overheat my battery or cause damage to it. Should I continue to use this?

The Nintendo Power Adapter does not indicate that it supports USB PD (Power Delivery) - and as such may not be suitable for use with your iPad. If you are in any doubt as to suitability, you would be best advised to either use the Power Adapter that was supplied with your iPad - or purchase a Power Adapter that is certified as suitable for use with Apple devices.

Be aware that any damage caused to your iPad through using an unsuitable Power Adapter will be excluded from warranty cover.
