In-App Purchases using apple ID credits.

is this even possible? if it is, i’ll explain what i did. I bought 2 gift cards which gave me $25 and $10 which was added it to my credit. Then i went to a game called “Brawl Stars” and started to buy gems. It said “verification required” which i clicked on. It took me to the apple store which showed credit card information i had to fill out. I clicked “back” and had the option to use my apple ID credits. i only saw this and didnt know what to do.
