What is backed-up to iCloud?

I have had big problems with the beta and now I need to go back to an iCloud backup I made a year ago! What data (apps, photos etc) that I have created in the last year (after the backup) will I have?

Hey Apple-Enthusiast123,

It sounds like you're wanting to restore the device from an iCloud backup, and you're looking to see what data will be available to you that may not be in that backup.

The data that will remain on the iPhone since the backup will be data that is syncing and was never stored in the backup. You can check to see which data is syncing to iCloud by going to Settings > [your name] > iCloud: Set up iCloud on all your devices - Apple Support. The data that is syncing there will remain on the device.
