Since re-downloading 🍎 Podcasts, the app plays everything at 1..25x speed. While I can manually change this setting, does anyone know of a way to adjust the default playback speed?

Seems the playback speed generally defaults to 1x whenever you listen to a new podcast.
There doesn't seem to be a way to change that default setting. (ie: Settings > Podcasts )
Could your podcasts have all been set to play at 1.25 when you re-downloaded them ?

Hi and thanks for reaching out! I’m not aware of having set any of my playback speeds to 1.25 prior to re-downloading. Most of the ones I listen to have been added since then.
Do you think removing and re-installing the app would be worth a try?
That’s a really good suggestion and something I hadn’t considered (needing to update the iOS)! I’m up to date so that wasn’t the problem, but by uninstalling and reinstalling everything seems back to normal.
