Hi there jem15,
We aren't exactly understanding what it is that you're describing, but we certainly want to help. While you may need to reach out to Apple Support regarding this, let's rule out what we can.
You mentioned already checking some great possible causes, so let's continue ruling out some others:
- Have you been able to use this same watch face in the past without this issue, and if yes, when did it first start?
- Has a restart been tried of both devices since this first began?
- If you have a compatible iPhone model paired with your watch, the latest version is iOS 15.5. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- As we see you're using a compatible watch model, the latest version is watchOS 8.6. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to Update your Apple Watch.
Cheers!
