When attempting to use the option key trick, I can get to the Mac to the Lock Screen, but after signing in, the whole screen goes black and restarts in windows.

I need some help here. I am using a 2013 iMac I believe.

Mac OS: Can't unlock settings in control panel After updating my iMac to OSX Montery it seems that the system is corrupt. I can log in to the computer, but if I user the same password to unlock the settings in control panel, the password window shakes as if the password was wrong. I also tried to enter the password very slowly so that I don't make a mistake but it remains the same. It is also strange, that when the password window appears, that the user isn't filled in, as it is with my other macs.... Does anyone have a clue what to do, other than formatting the HDD?!?!?

MacBook Air stuck on Windows 10 My MacBook Air (2019) will not boot back into MacOS and I am currently stuck on Windows 10. Whenever I hold down the option key, I just get a screen with a grey lock on it and a password prompt thing. Same with command + r. Please help me.

Make sure you are using a wired keyboard or if your keyboard is chargeable, ensure the charging cable is plugged into the Mac.
