Mcafee Antivirus on Monterey

There are no known Windows-like Viruses in the wild that self replicate and affect macOS, because of the underling UNIX  Foundation and Permission Limitation. 

The Only thing this Antivirus software is protecting is the Bank Account of the Developers and for zero return to the User aside from the problems this software creates.

The The Built in Security  is all that is required to protect the computer.

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions 

McAfee, and please read some of the issues this software creates

You should uninstall McAfee. Antivirus apps are not needed and are known to cause various problems.

Work made us put McAfee on the company Macs.

It cut the effective performance in half. It triggered operating system panics. It had background processes consuming 10’s of gigabytes of memory. Large downloads and software updates took hours instead of 30 minutes.

Just say no.

I consider all anti-virus software to be actual malware. Much as malware does, they all cause your computer to malfunction, but don't provide any value. The built-in protection provided by the OS already takes care of all malware that can attack your Mac.
