Does FaceTime use talk minutes?
I have a relative who will be traveling abroad.
I'm trying to find out if either of us will be charged extra money for FaceTime calls.
When we FaceTime, does it use data only or do our talk plan minutes get used?

FaceTime uses an internet connection.
It can use Wi-Fi if available and not use Data.
Or it can use Data if Wi-Fi is not available.
It will not use Talk Time minutes at all.
Only when using Data, and going over the allotted roaming data plan would there be any extra charge to the person using Data and going over.
