Downloading Apps
My IPad won’t recognize my Apple ID to update apps.

Remember, purchased Apps are forever tied to the AppleID from which the purchase was made. App purchased are not transferable.
If you are using a different AppleID, any Apps that you have purchased with the original AppleID will not be available to your for download, or update, unless “purchased” again from the new AppleID account.
