If I have a gift card and a credit card in my account balance, will it use my gift card first?

I want to buy a subscription for a certain app which costs $1.99. If I buy this, will it use my $5.00 gift card before the credit card registered in my account?

If you have already redeemed the card and have the $5 credit amount in your account, then yes.
