Mini or Lavalier Microphones for Iphone 13 Pro Max

Hey all, I'm having a hard time finding a microphone that is compatible and actually works with my iphone 13 pro max. I am looking for either a mini microphone or a lavalier microphone, so far I've tried one mini mic from amazon but it didn't work. Yes I used and have an adapter for the 3.5mm jack, but it seems not many of the mics have been updated to be compatible. Any recommendations is appreciated!
