My phone just randomly started defaulting my keyboard to landscape when in texting mode. The text message fields are still in portrait and are nearly completely covered by the landscape keyboard. I’ve confirmed that my rotation function is not locked. Nothing I do corrects this issue. I am unable to send text messages. Help.

Update your iPhone:
I see that iOS is the iOS version of your iPhone. So, update it to the latest version, seeing if that does the fix.
