i got a pare of AirPods case about 3 weeks ago and just a few minutes ago it started making clicking sounds when I opened and close it. After that now it only opens halfway I can barley grab my AirPods out of the case now
Is the hinge of the case free of debris or foreign objects?
No worries. If you can't see anything obvious, maybe take them to the Genius Bar. If they are still under warranty they may replace the case for you.

Sorry read that wrong, I check about 10 times I don’t see anything… I took a toothpick and dipped it in rubbing alcohol and put some of that in the hinge I don’t see anything.
