macbook m1 is slow

Hi,

my Macbook became very very slow after the newest update. It is so annoying, I cannot even play a song on my laptop because it keeps freezing or lagging. Not even a word file is possible to open without freezing.

it is very annoying and I can’t bring it to the shop without paying because my warranty is expired. I have the laptop for a year and a half.

I have done desk repair, I have deleted files and I have now more than 50% memory left but I still hve the problem.

anyone has any suggestions?

Okay, first question: Do you have any 3rd-party disc cleaners (eg Clean My Mac X), optimisers or AV installed...? If so, delete them. Second, download EtreCheck from here: https://etrecheck.com, run it, and then paste the result to this thread. Someone with more brains that me will take a look to see what might be the cause of the issue.
