Backup to iCloud failing

i am struggling to get a successful backup.

i have 200gb iCloud of which 55gb has been used.

I purchased more storage space yesterday. So my iCloud increased from 50gb to 200gb.

bow I’m trying to run a backup. And it has been failing with varying messages.

sometimes it says I don’t have a enough storage and sometimes it says some of the files couldn’t be found.

I have the latest software installed

please advise.
