I just updated to OS 12.4 and now the Apple Mail app won't work with my gmail accounts. When prompted to enter the password I get the error "Unable to verify account name or password." although I have verified both. Neither quitting and relaunching the app or restarting the computer has worked. Is there any other fix for this error?

Maybe worth updating for future posting.
That may stop being bugged about that version of macOS is installed on this computer.

It should list several things under the device in question including the version of macOS installed on the computer.
