I just want to retrieve my email password

Reset the password for whichever mail provider this might involve.

There’s generally no means to recover the password, as it’s preferably stored using a cryptographic hash and not as readable text.

Being able to get a clear text password from a web service is generally considered a bad thing, too.

If you want help with a particular provider, check with that provider for the password reset.

Or post the name of the provider, snd we can try to locate the reset sequence.
