How do I discover what my previous iPhone was backed up to?

I lost my iPhone purchased in January 2022. Upon purchase, all of the information was successfully transferred to the phone. I purchased a replacement for this phone, and all of a sudden it says I don't have any type of back up...even though I'm an icloud user.

My question is this: How do I discover what the January purchase was back up to AND how do I access this information to transfer to my recent replacement?

The only place you can see your iCloud Backup is in the setup wizard that you go through when you boot your iPhone up for the first time. In the process, you can choose whether you want to boot your phone with or without a backup. When you select iCloud Backup, you will be presented with the backups that are available in iCloud.

You can also go to:

Settings -> Apple ID (Your Name) -> iCloud -> Manage Storage -> Backup.

There you will also be able to find your backups if any are available.

If you have used PC with iTunes or Mac, then you can also have local backups lying there. However, this requires that your previous iPhone has been connected and synced with the computer.

You can see here how to do a restore from iCloud Backup:
