Troubleshooting Apple Funds:

Refer to the following...

A. Go Here: Change, Add, or Remove Apple ID Payment Methods - Apple Support

B. Use a PC: You are using an extremely old device (iPad 2). So, try performing this using a different device, in particular a computer, as it would be more-suer redly doing so.

C. For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Thanks, but when I try to manage my storage and upgrade, rather than using the funds in my Apple ID it takes me straight to add new payment method even though I don’t need to add one. What I need is for it to take the money out of my Apple ID account and for some reason it does not do that automatically. Do you have any other suggestions?

For Financial Assistance, contact Apple SupportThese are user-to-user forums. We are not Apple.  Apple barely reads these site on their own time, as it is. As you may suspect, no one here would know the answer to this. So, contact Apple Support. The'll see what has occurred, and will run you through the fix. Here is the information for contacting Apple Support:

Apple Phone Support:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as Necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

also...

B. Contact your Bank:

Contact your financial institution (bank) pertaining to this card, as this may be being seen as a scam (though that may not be the case). It would be a matter of security for you as a credit card holder. So, call them, letting them know that all os okay to be followed through with.
