auto lock

Ipad turns off when I am reading. Auto lock at "2 mins" but doesn't come up as a hyper link that I can click to make longer.

iPad auto-lock will be fixed at two minutes if you have enabled Low Power mode:

Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode

Auto lock can’t turn off I can’t turn off auto lock, using this iPad for reading music, and while I play I can’t touch the screen to wake it up. Only options are 2 and 5 minutes, while others have a Never option. Edit: thought this might help, this iPad is being managed by my company, but the only visible restriction is requiring passcode

Auto lock time locked. iPad screen fades too quickly. I read the response to extend the time, but I cannot enable auto lock. it is stuck on 2 minutes, and is grayed out.

If you have a corporate email account set up on the device, the administrators can enforce policies on it, including the Lock Screen timeout.
