If you mean the Thread Home automation protocol, then the 2nd Generation Apple TV 4K does support Thread but only for HomeKit compatible devices.

Older Apple TVs do not support Thread.

Thank you. Now, all I need is a concise list of Thread / HomeKit compatible devices. My searches have resulted in some really awful articles that use a lot of words but say nothing.
