Face ID not recognized with screen protector

Please help. Additionally if I try to take a selfie the top of the picture is hazy.

The obvious answer would seem to be to remove the ‘screen protector’ which apparently covers the lenses for the front facing camera and the true-depth sensor…

OK then… so it works without the screen protector, but not with it… the screen protector is the problem. Get rid of it.

No it is over the screen and not the camera. The camera works fine except for selfies
