Ipad won’t swipe

Force Restart:

• Tap and quickly release the volume up button
• Then tap and quickly release the volume down button
• Then press and keep holding the top power button (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go

You won't have to swipe at all and your iPad will restart completely.

See if you can swipe after you sign back in with your Passcode.

Try a reset. Press and hold both Power and Home. Hold until you hear it ping. You can let go then. It should reset and might solve the problem.

Might be time to get a new one. Sorry. 😔
