How to sync outlook calendar with apple calendar on M1 MacBook Pro

How do you do this? Outlook subscribes to my apple calendar but I can not get apple calendar to populate Outlook calendar entries.

Mac Calendar - how to add Outlook.com account? I use Outlook.com for my email and calendar. On my iPhone, I can have this Outlook account sync with my iPhone Calendar app. But I don't seem to be able to do this on my Macbook Calendar app? Can someone help?

I don't use Outlook, but there appears to be an answer in Sync Apple Calendar with Outlook - Apple Community.
