iPad playing music randomly middle of the night

My iPad was locked and plugged in at 3am when a random song I’ve never heard started playing at the loudest volume which my iPad is almost never set to while a little spinning “loading” type signal was on screen. It was completely unresponsive and played the song for just about 5 minutes the sopped and screen flashed bright pink, then black, then went back to the standard Lock Screen. I checked settings for anything that might be accidentally been enabled and music apps etc but nothing. It made me nervous that there was something more nefarious because it was completely unresponsive to me trying to unlock, hard reset or simply turn it off, so I reset it and shut it down until I can figure it out. Anyone else had this happen?

I can turn it on, I just don’t feel good about doing anything that requires personal info until I have some clue what happened so I haven’t been using it.

But I don’t think my appleID etc has been compromised though I did change my password me logged all devices out just in case.
