After traveling to the UK, back in the US my iPad keeps wanting to connect to UK sites

We recently traveled from the US to the UK for a couple of weeks. Both my wife and I used our iPads extensively while traveling, both using local wi-if and using our phones for connectivity (we had ATT International Day Pass for this; worked smoothly).

Since returning, we’re both finding that Safari will seem to prefer connecting to the UK version of a site, for example amazon.co.uk or google.co.uk or such. I’ve checked time zones, location parameters, no luck.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

Have you restarted your devices?

Another consideration would be to:

Reset your Network Settings

Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.
