Bricked Watch

I saw an earlier solution to bricked watches from Fireyjack (I think) where you do a hard reset until you see the apple logo and then press the power button for an additional 20 seconds until you get the rest option.

I get the reset option but it just continues the cycle between apple logo and the option to reset. I’ve tried doing this on the charger and off but I just get the same thing repeating.

Any other suggestions?

UPDATE: Persistence paid off. I have tried the above method over and over for days now. Every 5-10 minutes at some points over the day. Finally today i got the much needed recovery picture. I wasn’t able to recover the watch I did have to set it up again as a new device but at least it’s working. I have noticed the battery is now losing charge rather quickly when wearing it. I lost about 20% in 4 hours last night. But then over night (several hours) it’s only lost an additional 26%.
