mini ipad

ipad mini update all apps wants password of previously used apple id in order to update apps. Not obvious but tried it and it works. current and previous ids still appeal linked. How can this be changed to require new password and new apple id permanently

Apps are forever tied to the AppleID used to download them. They

cannot be transferred to a new AppleID nor can 2 AppleIDs be merged.

Family Sharing may provide some of the function you seek:

Family Sharing - Apple


You will either have to keep provide the old password whenever those

apps need updating or delete them and re-acquire the apps using the

new AppleID. Purchased apps will have to be re-bought.
