For over a few months now, my carplay has been entirely and consistently stuck in navigation volume control

I have searched on all forums, within Apple Support, Honda support and reddit forums, etc to finally fix my carplay. For awhile i didn't update m software but have now finally updated IOS to the latest version to see if this would fix my issue but it continues to persist. I cannot control carplay music volume and its so low i can barely hear my music. I have subs in the car and the subs are working but the mids and tweets are so low, it just sounds terrible. I can only fix this by going into bluetooth audio but the downfall is i don't have any maps or google maps navigation on the screen and have to use my phone to navigate which isn't as useful as it showing up on my 7" inch screen on my Honda Accord 2018 Sport.

I have read about Waze and the bugs and have entirely removed waze completely from the phone. Still every time i drive now its stuck on speech mode volume and can never control my music volume. I know there has to be others experiencing the same issue there are so many forums and posts talking about it. Is this ever going to be addressed by Apple?
