Font size in books

Since the 15 update my font is at max setting but is not big enough to read without glasses. Before this I could make the font huge. When will this be fixed? Will it be fixed? It is the only reason I have an iPad. If I have to wear glasses to read at night, I may as well just buy the real book. I’m so frustrated with this.

Have done this and makes no difference. It looks like a software problem as the smallest font size is microscopic. Please fix this for those of us that are visually impaired and can no longer read our books that we have paid for

Thanks for the link, but it does not solve the root problem. The issue is that IOS 14 and early had a MUCH larger maximum font size, and was critical for people with low vision. The font could be made so large that one or two words would fill the screen. The current maximum font size in iOS 15 is much smaller, and not accessible to people with low vision. It is also unfortunate that many people in this situation are also not able to deal complex solutions such as the magnify tool built for zooming in on parts the screen.

I am hopeful that we will see this resolved in iOS 16.
