I don’t remember password to encrypted backup
trying To restore backup on a new iphone, don’t remember the password, don’t ever remember ever encrypting the back up! What to do?
fyi! Old iPhone screen is not working anymore

You won't be able to use the backup if you don't know the encryption. Disable iOS backup encryption - Apple Community
