Most of the time there's an orange indicator during calls, however occasionally there's a red indicator during all calls which is what it's doing now. Can someone please explain why and how to stop it? Also after the last update to 15.5 i no longer have enable dictation in keyboard settings. Can someone please explain?

The red/orange indicates lights up when the microphone is in use. You need the microphone on during calls.
The color difference depends on the background. It means the same thing in both cases.
