My husband shares his location with me via text but the map does not come up when I click on his name. We have checked the Find my phone, location service, etc and they are all turned on on his phone. I have no issues with my son's location so I know it must be on my husband's end.

Possibly they have stopped sharing their location with you. See the pic below, which may explain their action
You may again send a request to them to start sharing their location with you.
