Mac mini 2018 SSD upgrade

What is the process for upgrading the 246GB SSD to a larger one in my Mac mini?

I think I need to clone the old one to the new one and switch to booting from the new one.

I haven't looked inside, but I suspect only one eIDE socket for SSD.

Mac mini, macOS 12.2

The SSDs in 2018 Mac minis (and newer) are soldered on. They cannot be swapped.
